Rocket Docket Appears To Be Working In Foreclosure Cases
An infusion of state funding has helped Orange and Osceola Counties reduce their backlog of foreclosure cases by fifteen percent during the first quarter of this year. Funding has been used to pay retired senior judges to chip away at the backlog of foreclosure cases. Nearly 40,000 foreclosure filings logjammed the legal system in these two counties, which comprise the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
